Error Code: EF0 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Water Leakage / Suds / Blocked Filter – General error for water leakage, excessive suds, or a blocked filter.
How to Fix EF0 Error (Step-by-Step)
- First, cancel the current wash cycle and turn off the washer.
- Check around and under the washer for any signs of water leakage. If you see water, unplug the machine and soak up the water before proceeding.
- Locate the small door on the bottom front of the washer; this is the filter access panel. Place a shallow pan and a towel in front of it to catch any residual water.
- Open the panel and slowly unscrew the filter cap, allowing the water to drain into the pan. Once drained, completely remove the filter.
- Clean the filter of any lint, hair, or debris. Also, check the filter housing for any foreign objects and remove them.
- Re-insert the clean filter and screw the cap on tightly. Close the access panel.
- If the issue was excessive suds, run a rinse and spin cycle with no clothes or detergent to clear out the excess foam.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
