Error Code: FL Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Water valve is open.
How to Fix FL Error (Step-by-Step)
- For steam-equipped models, locate the water supply valve for the dryer and ensure it is turned completely on.
- Pull the dryer away from the wall to inspect the water inlet hose connected to the back.
- Look for any sharp bends, kinks, or twists in the hose that could be blocking water flow.
- Gently straighten any kinks you find and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Unscrew the hose from the dryer and the wall valve to check for clogged filter screens inside the connection points. Clean any debris found.
- Reconnect the hoses securely and turn the water back on, checking for leaks before starting a cycle.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
