Error Code: E02 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Motor fault.
How to Fix E02 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from the power outlet to ensure safety.
- Access the rear of the machine by unscrewing and removing the back panel.
- Locate the drive motor at the bottom of the drum.
- Carefully inspect the wiring harness connected to the motor. Ensure the plug is securely seated and that no wires are loose, burnt, or damaged.
- Identify the carbon brushes on the motor. They are small, rectangular blocks that contact the motor’s commutator.
- Unscrew the brush holders and gently remove the carbon brushes. If they are worn down to less than a quarter of an inch, they need to be replaced.
- If the wiring and brushes are in good condition, the motor itself may be faulty and require replacement.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
Still Not Working?
If the replacement part didn’t fix the issue, you may have a wiring problem or main board failure.
