Problem: Reversed hot and cold water hoses.
How to Fix HO SE Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the electrical outlet for safety and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Turn off both the hot and cold water supply valves completely.
- Carefully unscrew the water inlet hoses from the back of the washing machine.
- Inspect the hose connections on the washer; they are typically color-coded, with red for hot and blue for cold.
- Reconnect the hose from the hot water supply to the red (hot) inlet and the hose from the cold water supply to the blue (cold) inlet.
- Hand-tighten the connections first, then use pliers to give them a gentle quarter-turn to ensure they are secure.
- Turn the water supply valves back on, plug in the washer, and run a test cycle to check for leaks.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
