⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: EF3 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Aquastop system activated.
How to Fix EF3 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Immediately turn off the water supply to the washer from the wall valves.
- Unplug the washing machine from the electrical outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Carefully pull the washer away from the wall to inspect the water inlet hoses for any visible leaks or damage. Tighten any loose connections.
- Check the base of the machine for any pooled water. If water is present, it indicates a leak that has triggered the Aquastop system.
- Tilt the machine slightly forward to allow any water in the base pan to drain out, which should reset the Aquastop float switch.
- Once the area is dry and you’ve addressed any visible leaks, you can restore the power and water supply.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
