How to Fix DELAY LIGHTS FLASHING Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the dishwasher from power by turning off the circuit breaker.
- Shut off the water supply to the dishwasher, usually under the sink.
- Carefully pull the dishwasher out from under the counter and lay it on its back to access the bottom.
- Locate the heating element terminals protruding from the bottom of the tub. Disconnect the two wires attached to them.
- Unscrew the nuts holding the old heating element in place and gently pull it out from inside the tub.
- Install the new heating element, ensuring the rubber seals are properly seated. Secure it with the nuts.
- Reconnect the wires to the new element’s terminals, slide the dishwasher back into place, and restore power and water.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
