How to Fix F22 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the electrical outlet to ensure safety.
- Locate and remove the screws on the back of the top panel to slide it off and access the internal components.
- Look inside the front of the washer frame to find the door lock assembly.
- Carefully disconnect the wire harness attached to the door lock.
- Remove the screws holding the old door lock assembly in place and take it out.
- Install the new door lock assembly (Part No. W11307244), securing it with the screws.
- Reconnect the wire harness, replace the top panel, and plug the washer back in to test.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
