How to Fix F22 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Unplug the washer from the electrical outlet to ensure safety.
  2. Locate and remove the screws on the back of the top panel to slide it off and access the internal components.
  3. Look inside the front of the washer frame to find the door lock assembly.
  4. Carefully disconnect the wire harness attached to the door lock.
  5. Remove the screws holding the old door lock assembly in place and take it out.
  6. Install the new door lock assembly (Part No. W11307244), securing it with the screws.
  7. Reconnect the wire harness, replace the top panel, and plug the washer back in to test.
  8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
