How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker.
- Remove the lower access panel.
- Locate the turbidity sensor (OWI) near the wash arm assembly.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
- Test sensor resistance with a multimeter (should not read zero ohms).
- If the sensor is shorted, remove mounting screws securing it to the tub.
- Clean the sensor lens with vinegar solution and soft cloth.
- If cleaning doesn’t resolve the issue, install the new OWI sensor assembly.
- Reconnect the electrical connector.
- Run a diagnostic cycle to verify sensor operation.
