How to Fix Dishwasher Error

  1. Disconnect power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Remove the lower access panel.
  3. Locate the turbidity sensor (OWI) near the wash arm assembly.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
  5. Test sensor resistance with a multimeter (should not read zero ohms).
  6. If the sensor is shorted, remove mounting screws securing it to the tub.
  7. Clean the sensor lens with vinegar solution and soft cloth.
  8. If cleaning doesn’t resolve the issue, install the new OWI sensor assembly.
  9. Reconnect the electrical connector.
  10. Run a diagnostic cycle to verify sensor operation.
