- Open the washing machine door and locate the door lock assembly.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the outer retaining band that secures the door boot seal to the front panel.
- Peel back the door boot seal to access the screws holding the door lock assembly in place.
- Remove the screws and carefully pull the door lock assembly out, disconnecting the wiring harness.
- Connect the new door lock assembly to the wiring harness and secure it with the screws.
- Reattach the door boot seal and secure it with the retaining band.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
