Open the dishwasher door. The vent and fan assembly is typically located on the top or side of the inner door panel or tub opening.
Remove the screws that secure the vent cover or assembly in place.
Gently pull the vent assembly away from the dishwasher body.
Disconnect the wire harness that provides power to the fan motor.
Replace the entire vent and fan assembly with the new part.
Reconnect the wire harness, secure the new assembly with its screws, and restore power to the dishwasher.
