Problem: A wash motor failure has occurred.
How to Fix ER-03 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Turn off the power and water supply to the dishwasher.
- Carefully slide the dishwasher out from its installation space and lay it on its back on a protective blanket.
- Locate the wash motor, which is the large component attached to the sump at the bottom of the unit.
- Disconnect the various wire harnesses and hoses attached to the motor and pump assembly. Have a towel ready for residual water.
- Unclip or unscrew the mounting brackets that hold the motor in place.
- Remove the old motor assembly and install the new one, ensuring all seals are correctly positioned.
- Reconnect all hoses and electrical connectors, then carefully return the dishwasher to its upright position and slide it back in place.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
