Error Code: E19 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Detergent dispenser solenoid circuit error.
How to Fix E19 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the dishwasher from its power source by turning off the circuit breaker and shut off the water supply valve, usually located under the sink.
- Carefully slide the dishwasher out from under the counter to access its sides and back.
- Remove the outer side panels and the base panel at the bottom front to expose the internal components.
- Locate the heat exchanger assembly on the side of the unit and identify the outlet valve connected to it.
- Unplug the electrical connector from the valve solenoid and carefully detach the connected hoses, being prepared for some residual water to spill.
- Remove the old valve, which may be held by clips or screws, and install the new heat exchanger outlet valve in its place.
- Reconnect the hoses and electrical connector, reassemble the panels, slide the dishwasher back into place, and restore power and water to test the repair.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
Still Not Working?
If the replacement part didn’t fix the issue, you may have a wiring problem or main board failure.
