  2. Shut off the water supply valves leading to the washer.
  3. Tilt the machine forward to access the components underneath. Ensure it is stable and will not fall.
  4. Locate the shift actuator (Part: WPW10006355). It is mounted to the side of the transmission.
  5. Unplug the electrical connector attached to the actuator. Use a screwdriver or socket to remove the mounting screws.
