How to Fix nd Error
- Unplug washer and turn off water supply valves.
- Remove lower front panel (3 screws at bottom edge).
- Place towels underneath, then slowly unscrew drain pump filter cap counter-clockwise to release water gradually.
- Clear all debris (coins, hairpins, lint) from filter housing and impeller chamber.
- Manually rotate pump impeller clockwise with finger – should spin freely without grinding or binding.
- Reinstall filter snugly (hand-tight plus 1/4 turn maximum – overtightening cracks housing).
- Check drain hose for kinks beyond 90° bends and ensure standpipe height doesn’t exceed 96 inches.
- If error persists: Disconnect pump wiring harness and measure resistance across terminals (should read 12-18Ω).
- Replace drain pump assembly DC34-00008A if impeller damaged or motor open-circuit.
