Problem: Water inlet valve malfunction or reversed hot/cold hose connections
How to Fix 4C Error
- Confirm hot/cold hoses connected to correct valves (marked H/C on machine rear panel).
- Swap hose connections temporarily to test if error follows hose position.
- Clean inlet screens thoroughly with soft brush and vinegar solution.
- Test individual valve solenoids in diagnostic mode (Temp + Delay Start + Power, then Temp button cycles through valves).
- Measure resistance across each solenoid (should read 2-4kΩ).
- Replace inlet valve assembly DC62-00243A if one solenoid fails to activate while other works normally or resistance out of spec.
