Error Code: 4 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: The load is unbalanced during the spin cycle. If the load is evenly distributed but this error persists, the suspension rods or shock absorbers supporting the tub have failed.
How to Fix 4 Error
- Pause cycle and wait 60 seconds for drum to stop completely.
- Open lid and redistribute laundry evenly around drum. Separate large bulky items (comforters, rugs).
- Mix large items with smaller items for balanced weight distribution.
- Ensure washer is level: place carpenter’s level on top panel. Adjust front leveling legs until bubble is centered.
- Lock leveling legs in place using pliers to prevent vibration-induced movement.
- Close lid firmly until latch engages. Restart cycle.
- If error recurs: Reduce load size by 25%. Avoid washing single bulky items alone.
- Check floor stability—unit must sit on solid surface (not carpet/vinyl over subfloor).
