How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Verify household water supply valve is fully open. Check for kinks in supply hose.
- Unplug dishwasher. Remove lower access panel.
- Disconnect water supply hose from inlet valve. Place towel underneath. Briefly open valve to confirm strong flow.
- Clean inlet screen filter inside valve port with toothbrush and vinegar solution. Rinse thoroughly.
- Reconnect supply hose hand-tight plus 1/4 turn.
- Access inlet valve assembly. Test solenoid coil resistance: 500-1500Ω. Replace if open/shorted.
- Disconnect wiring harness. Remove mounting screws. Extract old valve assembly.
- Install new inlet valve assembly using OEM part DD61-00001A. Secure mounting hardware.
- Reconnect water supply hose and wiring harness.
- Restore water and power. Start cycle and verify dishwasher fills to proper level within 90 seconds.
