Problem: Water Temperature Sensor (NTC) Error
How to Fix Washer Error
- Unplug the washer from power source.
- Remove the lower front access panel to access the heating element area.
- Locate the temperature sensor (thermistor) mounted on the heating element or tub.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature sensor.
- Remove the mounting screw or clip securing the sensor in place.
- Gently pull the sensor out of its mounting hole.
- Inspect the sensor tip for any corrosion or damage.
- Apply a small amount of thermal grease to the tip of the new sensor.
- Insert the new sensor into the mounting hole until fully seated.
- Secure with the mounting screw and reconnect the electrical connector.
- Reassemble the access panel and test the heating function with a warm water cycle.
