How to Fix Washer Error

  1. Unplug the washer and turn off water supply valves.
  2. Remove the lower front access panel by unscrewing the 3 screws at the bottom.
  3. Place towels underneath to catch any residual water.
  4. Locate the drain pump and disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Loosen the hose clamps on the drain hoses and remove them from the pump.
  6. Remove the 3 mounting bolts securing the drain pump to the washer.
  7. Inspect the old pump for debris, coins, or lint blocking the impeller.
  8. Clean the pump housing thoroughly and check if the impeller spins freely by hand.
  9. If the impeller is damaged or doesn’t spin, install the new pump.
  10. Reconnect hoses with new clamps if needed, secure electrical connector, and test the drain function.
