How to Fix Dryer Error

1. Verify household power is restored—check other appliances on same circuit.
2. Check circuit breaker panel for tripped dryer breaker—reset by turning fully OFF then ON.
3. Inspect power cord for damage or loose connections at terminal block inside dryer (remove rear panel to access).
4. Tighten terminal block screws if loose—should require firm pressure to secure (approximately 35 in-lbs torque).
5. To resume cycle: press and hold START button for 3 seconds, OR press POWER button to clear display then reselect cycle and press START.
6. If PF code returns frequently without actual power outages, inspect house wiring: loose neutral connection at breaker panel can cause intermittent power loss. Contact licensed electrician if suspected.
7. Test voltage at dryer outlet with multimeter—should read 240V±10% under load. Voltage below 220V can cause control board resets mimicking PF code.
