How to Fix E57 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Turn off the circuit breaker for the washer and unplug it from the wall outlet.
- Remove the rear access panel of the washer to locate the motor control board (inverter), which is situated near the bottom of the machine.
- Take a clear photo of the wire connections to the board for reference before disconnecting anything.
- Carefully disconnect all wire harnesses leading to the motor control board.
- Remove the mounting screws that hold the control board in place and lift the old board out of the washer.
- Install the new motor control board, securing it with the mounting screws.
- Reconnect all wire harnesses according to your reference photo, reattach the access panel, and restore power to test the washer.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
