How to Fix LF Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washing machine from the power source for safety.
- Shut off the hot and cold water supply valves at the wall.
- Unscrew the water inlet hoses from the back of the washer. Have a small bucket or towel ready to catch any residual water.
- Look inside the two water inlet ports on the washer. You will see small filter screens.
- Carefully remove the screens with a pair of needle-nose pliers.
- Clean any sediment or debris from the screens using a small brush and water.
- Reinstall the clean filter screens, reconnect the water hoses securely, and turn the water supply back on before plugging the washer in again.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
