Use a putty knife to release the clips on the left and right sides of the top console, allowing you to hinge it backwards.
Locate the lid lock assembly on the washer’s top panel where the lid striker enters.
Disconnect the wire harness that connects to the lid lock.

Position the new lid lock assembly and secure it with the mounting screws.
