Error Code: F3 E1 Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: Pressure System Fault
How to Fix F3 E1 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the wall outlet to completely cut off power.
- Carefully pull the washer away from the wall to get access to the back panel and hoses.
- Inspect the black rubber drain hose for any visible kinks, twists, or blockages. Straighten the hose if it is bent.
- Ensure the drain hose is not inserted too far into the standpipe (wall drain), which can create a siphon effect. No more than 6 inches of the hose should be inside the pipe.
- If the drain hose is clear, the issue may be with the pressure switch hose inside the machine. You will need to remove the top panel by taking out the screws at the back.
- Locate the water level pressure switch, a round component with a thin tube attached to it. Check this tube for clogs, kinks, or loose connections at both the switch and the outer tub.
- If the hose appears clear and is securely connected, re-attach the top panel, plug the washer back in, and attempt to run a new cycle to see if the error is resolved.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
