How to Fix LDU Error (Step-by-Step)

1. First, cancel any active cycle and try to start a new one. Sometimes the control board needs to reset to release the lock.
2. Turn off power to the dishwasher by switching off the corresponding circuit breaker in your home’s electrical panel. Wait for 5-10 minutes before restoring power.
3. After restoring power, try to open the door. This power cycle can often reset the lock mechanism.
4. If the door remains locked, you will need to replace the door latch assembly. This requires accessing the inner door panel.
