1. First, check the dishwasher filter located at the bottom of the tub. Remove it and clean any food particles or debris under running water.
2. Inspect the drain hose for any visible kinks or bends that could be restricting water flow. Straighten the hose if necessary.
3. Check where the drain hose connects to the sink’s plumbing or garbage disposal. Disconnect it and clear any clogs from the connection point.
4. If you have a garbage disposal, run it to clear any food waste that might be blocking the drain.
5. If the dishwasher still doesn’t drain, the drain pump may be clogged or has failed. Turn the appliance off to the dishwasher.
6. You will need to access the drain pump by removing the bottom front panel of the dishwasher.
