How to Fix Washer Error
- Unplug washer and turn off water supply.

- If resistance is infinite (open circuit), element has failed internally.
- If resistance is zero (shorted to ground), element has failed and may have damaged control board.
- Inspect heater sheath for cracks, corrosion, or mineral buildup causing premature failure.
- Check wiring harness for melted insulation near heat source.
- Replace heating element assembly W10247593 – requires draining tub and removing mounting bolts.
- After replacement, run hot water cycle and verify temperature reaches 120°F within 15 minutes of fill completion.
