How to Fix Washer Error

  1. Unplug washer and remove top panel to access pressure switch.
  2. Disconnect pressure hose from switch and inspect for cracks, kinks, or water accumulation.
  3. Blow through pressure hose to clear moisture/debris – should have unrestricted airflow.
  4. Verify hose connection at air dome on tub is secure and not clogged with detergent residue.
  5. With hose disconnected from switch, multimeter should show NO continuity across terminals.
  6. Gently blow into hose while monitoring continuity – switch should close at approximately
  7. 5 PSI.
  8. If switch doesn’t change state when blowing, replace pressure switch W
  9. If switch tests good but error persists, inspect air dome port on tub for blockage (remove hose and probe with pipe cleaner).
  10. Check for air leaks in pressure system: cracked tub, loose hose clamps, or damaged air dome.
  11. If all components test good, replace main control board W10461397 as sensing circuit has failed.
