How to Fix Washer Error
- Verify both hot/cold water supply valves are fully open.
- Disconnect fill hoses from washer and check household water pressure (>20 PSI required).
- Clean inlet valve screens by removing hoses and brushing debris from brass fittings.
- Inspect fill hoses for kinks, excessive length (>6 feet), or internal collapse.
- Remove top panel and locate flow meter (clear plastic housing with turbine) on inlet valve assembly.
- Verify turbine spins freely when water flows (observe during brief fill attempt).
- If turbine is stuck, replace water inlet valve assembly W
- Check pressure switch hose connection at air dome on tub – must be secure and dry.
- If water flows but error persists, replace pressure switch W
- After repair, verify washer fills to proper level within 6 minutes on normal cycle.
