How to Fix DELAY LIGHTS FLASHING Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Turn off the power to the dishwasher at your home’s circuit breaker to ensure safety.
  2. Pull the dishwasher out from under the counter and carefully lay it on its back to access the bottom panel.
  3. Locate the heating element, which is a circular or U-shaped metal tube at the bottom of the tub.
  4. Disconnect the two wires attached to the heating element terminals. Be careful not to damage the connectors.
  5. Remove the nuts or fasteners holding the old heating element in place and pull it out of the tub.
  6. Install the new heating element, ensuring the rubber gaskets are properly seated to prevent leaks, and secure it with the nuts.
