How to Fix Whirlpool Washer Error F3E6

⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.

Error Code: F3E6 Difficulty: Moderate

Problem: High temperature during rinse (≥105°F)

How to Fix F3E6 Error

  1. CHECK WATER SUPPLY HOSES. This error indicates the water temperature was too high during a rinse cycle. Ensure that your hot and cold water inlet hoses are connected to the correct spigots on the wall. The hot water hose should be connected to the hot water supply, and cold to cold.
  2. REDUCE HOT WATER HEATER TEMPERATURE. If the hoses are correct, your home’s hot water heater may be set too high. Consider lowering the temperature setting on your water heater.
  3. RUN A TEST CYCLE. Run a cold water wash or rinse cycle to confirm the issue is resolved.
