How to Fix 8C Error

  1. This is a general MEMS vibration sensor error, same as ‘8C1’.
  2. Unplug the washer.
  3. Remove the front or back panel to access the outer tub.
  4. Locate the sensor mounted to the tub, check its wire harness for a secure connection.
  5. If the wiring is secure, the sensor has failed and needs to be replaced.
  6. After replacement, run a calibration cycle (‘Cb’).
