Problem: Lid cannot unlock
How to Fix LdU Error
- UNPLUG THE WASHER. This code means the ‘Lid’ is failing to ‘Unlock’.
- Wait 5-10 minutes after the cycle has completely finished to see if the lock releases on its own.
- If it remains locked, you may need to manually release it. Access the bottom of the lid lock assembly from under the top panel and look for a manual release tab or pull.
- The cause is a failed lid lock assembly. Once you have the lid open, follow the replacement procedure for code ‘LdL’ to install a new lock.
