UNPLUG THE WASHER. This error is for older models equipped with a ‘SilverCare’ system, indicating a failure in that specific system.
The SilverCare control unit is a separate electronic part. Accessing it usually requires removing the top or front panel of the washer.
Locate the SilverCare control kit, check its wire connections. If connections are secure, the unit has failed.
Disconnect the wiring and replace the old control kit with the new one. This part may be difficult to source as it is for older machines.
