How to Fix FL4 Error
- For models with LED blink patterns: 4 blinks indicates motor system error.
- Remove rear panel and locate hall sensor connector on motor stator.
- Disconnect and inspect for corrosion or bent pins.
- Measure resistance between pins 1-2 and 2-3 (
- 5-3kΩ normal).
- Rotate drum manually while monitoring resistance – should fluctuate smoothly.
- Replace hall sensor DC31-00138A if open circuit or erratic readings.
- Check motor windings (U-V, V-W, W-U should read 5-15Ω balanced).
- If sensor and motor test good but error persists: replace main PCB DC92-01543A.
