Error Code: 9C7 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Hardware overcurrent – physical short circuit detected (fire hazard)
How to Fix 9C7 Error
- UNPLUG WASHER IMMEDIATELY – safety hazard present. Do not operate until repaired.
- Visually inspect all wiring harnesses for melted insulation or chafing against sharp edges (pay attention to motor and heater connections).
- Disconnect all loads (heater, pump, motor) at PCB and power up briefly – if error clears, reconnect loads one-by-one to isolate fault.
- Test each load for shorts to ground with megohmmeter (>1MΩ required; <100kΩ indicates fault).
- Inspect PCB for burnt traces near power relays or inverter section (look for carbon tracking).
- Replace main PCB DC92-01543A and any damaged wiring harnesses.
- NEVER operate washer with this error until root cause identified – fire risk exists from uncontrolled current flow.
