How to Fix 3E2 Error

  1. Inspect hall sensor wiring harness for chafing against sharp edges near motor mounting points.
  2. Wiggle sensor connector while monitoring resistance with multimeter – intermittent changes indicate bad connection.
  3. Replace hall sensor DC31-00138A if intermittent readings detected during wiggle test.
  4. Check motor mounting bolts for looseness causing vibration-induced signal loss (torque to 15 ft-lbs).
  5. Verify 15V DC supply to hall sensor at PCB connector pin 3 (critical for signal integrity).
  6. If power supply unstable or signal distorted: replace main PCB DC92-01543A.
  7. After repair, run diagnostic spin test to verify stable RPM feedback.
