How to Fix nd Error

Unplug washer and turn off water supply valves.
Remove lower front panel (3 screws at bottom edge).
Place towels underneath, then slowly unscrew drain pump filter cap counter-clockwise to release water gradually.
Clear all debris (coins, hairpins, lint) from filter housing and impeller chamber.
Manually rotate pump impeller clockwise with finger – should spin freely without grinding or binding.
Reinstall filter snugly (hand-tight plus 1/4 turn maximum – overtightening cracks housing).
Check drain hose for kinks beyond 90° bends and ensure standpipe height doesn’t exceed 96 inches.
If error persists: Disconnect pump wiring harness and measure resistance across terminals (should read 12-18Ω).
Replace drain pump assembly DC34-00008A if impeller damaged or motor open-circuit.
