⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.

Problem: The washer is not draining. This is almost always a clogged drain pump filter (coin trap) or a broken drain pump. Check the filter at the bottom front of the machine first.

How to Fix E2 Error

  • UNPLUG the washer from electrical power.
  • Locate pressure switch at top rear of tub assembly. Disconnect thin vinyl air hose from switch port.
  • Blow forcefully through vinyl hose to clear moisture, lint, or debris. Inspect hose for cracks/kinks; replace if damaged.
  • Test pressure switch operation: set multimeter to continuity mode. With tub empty, switch should read OPEN. Blow firmly into switch port—the switch should click and read CLOSED.
  • If switch fails to change state, replace using OEM part DC34-00050A: disconnect wiring harness, remove mounting screws, install new switch.
  • Reconnect vinyl hose securely to both pressure switch and air dome port on tub.
  • Verify air dome port on tub is clear of lint/debris using flashlight and small brush.
  • Reassemble panels. Run fill cycle to confirm water level stops at appropriate height.
