Problem: Excess suds detected – non-HE detergent or overdosing causing foam buildup

How to Fix SUD Error

1. Cancel current cycle and select Rinse+Spin cycle without detergent 2-3 times to remove suds.
2. Use only HE (High Efficiency) detergent labeled specifically for front-load washers.
3. Reduce detergent amount to 1-2 tablespoons (15-30ml) for standard loads; 1 tablespoon for soft water areas.
4. Avoid liquid fabric softener – use dryer sheets instead (softener coats drum causing suds retention).
5. Clean detergent dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water and old toothbrush to remove residue buildup.
6. Run Tub Clean cycle monthly with affresh tablet or 1 cup white vinegar to remove soap scum buildup.
7. Check water hardness – soft water requires less detergent than hard water (use water test strip to determine dosage).
