Error Code: Washer Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Power failure detected during cycle operation
How to Fix Washer Error
- Verify household circuit breaker hasn’t tripped – reset if necessary.
- Check GFCI outlet (if applicable) hasn’t tripped – press reset button.
- Inspect power cord for damage or loose connection at wall outlet.
- Plug washer directly into wall outlet (remove extension cords or power strips).
- Verify outlet provides stable 120V AC using multimeter (voltage sags can trigger PF).
- If power was restored quickly, press START/PAUSE to resume cycle from interruption point.
- If cycle won’t resume, press CANCEL then restart desired cycle.
- If PF occurs repeatedly without actual power loss, suspect loose neutral connection in house wiring – contact electrician.
- Check main control board for loose power terminal connections (requires removing top panel).
- If PF occurs during motor startup, suspect weak household circuit unable to handle inrush current – dedicated 20-amp circuit recommended.
