How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Turn off power at circuit breaker.
- Remove lower access panel.
- Locate drain solenoid on side of pump assembly.
- Disconnect electrical connector from solenoid.
- Remove 2 mounting screws securing solenoid bracket.
- Carefully remove old solenoid and plunger assembly.
- Clean solenoid mounting surface and plunger shaft with fine sandpaper.
- Apply light grease to new plunger shaft.
- Install new solenoid assembly with new gasket.
- Secure mounting screws to 6 inch-pounds.
- Reconnect electrical connector.
- Reinstall access panel.
- Restore power and test drain cycle, listening for proper solenoid engagement click and complete drainage.
