How to Fix Dishwasher Error

  1. Turn off power at circuit breaker.
  2. Remove lower access panel.
  3. Locate drain solenoid on side of pump assembly.
  4. Disconnect electrical connector from solenoid.
  5. Remove 2 mounting screws securing solenoid bracket.
  6. Carefully remove old solenoid and plunger assembly.
  7. Clean solenoid mounting surface and plunger shaft with fine sandpaper.
  8. Apply light grease to new plunger shaft.
  9. Install new solenoid assembly with new gasket.
  10. Secure mounting screws to 6 inch-pounds.
  11. Reconnect electrical connector.
  12. Reinstall access panel.
  13. Restore power and test drain cycle, listening for proper solenoid engagement click and complete drainage.
