How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Disconnect power at circuit breaker.
- Remove lower access panel.
- Locate diverter motor on top of circulation pump housing.
- Disconnect electrical connector from motor.
- Remove 3 mounting screws securing motor assembly.
- Carefully lift motor assembly off pump housing.
- Clean drive mechanism and check for binding in gears.
- Install new diverter motor assembly with new gasket.
- Secure mounting screws to 7 inch-pounds in sequence.
- Reconnect electrical connector.
- Reinstall access panel.
- Restore power and test upper/lower spray arm operation during wash cycle – should alternate properly between arms.
