Problem: Inlet water thermistor fault (cold water monitoring sensor)
How to Fix tE2 Error
- Locate secondary thermistor near inlet valve assembly (top rear of machine behind control panel).
- Disconnect power and access sensor by removing top panel and control panel screws.
- Disconnect connector and measure resistance at ambient temperature (should match main thermistor curve).
- Compare readings to main tub thermistor – should be within 10% at same temperature.
- Replace inlet thermistor DC34-00024B (different OEM number from main tub sensor) if readings unstable or out of range.
- Check for water leaks around sensor housing causing False high-temperature readings.
- Inspect wiring harness for damage near sharp metal edges.
