How to Fix tE2 Error

  1. Locate secondary thermistor near inlet valve assembly (top rear of machine behind control panel).
  2. Disconnect power and access sensor by removing top panel and control panel screws.
  3. Disconnect connector and measure resistance at ambient temperature (should match main thermistor curve).
  4. Compare readings to main tub thermistor – should be within 10% at same temperature.
  5. Replace inlet thermistor DC34-00024B (different OEM number from main tub sensor) if readings unstable or out of range.
  6. Check for water leaks around sensor housing causing False high-temperature readings.
  7. Inspect wiring harness for damage near sharp metal edges.
