UNPLUG washer. Place towels under access panel.
Open drain pump filter cover (lower front right), drain residual water into container.
Remove filter, clear debris (coins, lint, hairpins). Inspect impeller: rotate manually—should spin freely.
If impeller broken/stuck: Disconnect pump wiring harness. Loosen hose clamps (use pliers). Remove 2 mounting screws. Extract pump. Install new DC34-0001A pump. Reconnect hoses/harness.
Test drain function before reassembly.
