Problem: Overflow error; water level exceeds safety limit due to drain failure or sensor fault
How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Immediately unplug dishwasher and turn off water supply.
- Remove standing water from tub using wet/dry vacuum.
- Clean drain filter assembly per 5C procedure: remove coarse and fine filters, rinse thoroughly.
- Inspect drain hose for kinks, blockages, or improper installation height (must not exceed 10ft vertical rise).
- Access drain pump. Rotate impeller manually—it must spin freely 360°.
- If impeller is stuck or damaged: disconnect pump wiring harness, loosen hose clamps, remove mounting screws.
- Extract old drain pump assembly. Clean mounting area.
- Install new drain pump using OEM part DD31-00010A. Align tabs, secure screws, reconnect hoses and harness.
- Reinstall filters. Restore water and power.
- Run Drain cycle to verify complete water removal within 90 seconds and error clearance.
