How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Immediately unplug dishwasher and shut off water supply valve.
- Remove all standing water from base pan using towels or wet/dry vacuum.
- Tilt dishwasher forward carefully (with assistance) to access underside. Locate moisture sensor pad.
- Dry sensor pad completely with absorbent cloth. Allow full 60 minutes air drying time.
- Inspect door gasket thoroughly for tears, cracks, or food debris. Clean gasket groove with vinegar solution.
- Check detergent dispenser gasket and spray arm seals for leaks. Tighten any loose components.
- If sensor remains triggered after drying: replace moisture sensor using OEM part DD31-00005A.
- Reassemble all panels securely.
- Restore water and power. Run short Rinse cycle with panels off to visually confirm no leaks.
- Monitor for 15 minutes after cycle completion to ensure no residual moisture triggers sensor.
