Problem: Lid cannot unlock

How to Fix LdU Error

UNPLUG THE WASHER. This code means the ‘Lid’ is failing to ‘Unlock’.
Wait 5-10 minutes after the cycle has completely finished to see if the lock releases on its own.
If it remains locked, you may need to manually release it. Access the bottom of the lid lock assembly from under the top panel and look for a manual release tab or pull.
The cause is a failed lid lock assembly. Once you have the lid open, follow the replacement procedure for code ‘LdL’ to install a new lock.
