How to Fix F5E1 Error
- Unplug the washer.
- Inspect the lid/door striker (the piece on the lid) for damage; ensure it aligns with the lock hole.

- Remove the lock mounting screws and disconnect the electrical plug.
- Install the new lock assembly and verify the lid/door clicks when closed.
