How to Fix 6-1 Error

  1. First, ensure the hot water supply valve for the dishwasher (usually under the sink) is fully open.
  2. Check the water inlet hose for any kinks or blockages.
  3. If the water supply is good, the water inlet valve on the dishwasher has failed. Shut off the water supply and disconnect power.
  4. The valve is typically located at the front-bottom of the dishwasher. Remove the lower access panel.
  5. Disconnect the water line, outlet hose, and wire harness. Replace the valve and reconnect everything.
